What's new in the Special Collection

Fine arts publications are often uniquely designed and the physical manifestation of an item plays an integral part in the overall experience of its content.  Some are made up of multiple parts, contain loose inserts, or have unusual shapes and bindings that won’t allow it to sit on a shelf like a traditional book.

One Day: Ten Photographers, recently added to the Library's collection is one example.  Because of the limited number produced, and to protect and maintain its unique characteristics it will be housed in the Library's Special Collection room.  It is now on display for you to preview, and we encourage you to examine this beautiful book object and the contents of the individual volumes.

Material in the Special Collection is here for your use.  Feel free to ask us how to find out more about what’s in the Special Collection.
